The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority “Nazaha” initiated a number of Criminal and administrative cases during the month of April 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the integrity of government work and protect public funds, by tracking cases of suspicion and violations in a number of vital sectors.
Total detainees and follow-up investigations
The authority explained that the total number of detainees during the period amounted to 97 detainees, whose cases included related suspicions Violation of applicable regulations and instructions.
Monitoring tours in government agencies
The Authority carried out field oversight tours targeting a number of government agencies, including the Ministries of Interior, Defense, Health, Municipalities and Housing, Human Resources and Social Development, Islamic Affairs, and Da’wah and Guidance, in order to monitor any observations or potential violations and work to address them in accordance with the regulations.
