"Emirates Diving" Fujairah International Marine Sports Club signs a memorandum of understanding
Fujairah, May 4 / WAM / The Fujairah International Marine Sports Club and the Emirates Diving Association announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to launch a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing joint cooperation and coordination between the two sides, during a press conference held on this occasion, where the launch of one of the most prominent cooperation initiatives in the field of marine sports in the country was revealed, as His Excellency Jumaa bin Thalith signed on behalf of the association and on behalf of the club, Ahmed Ibrahim Al Balushi, Executive Director.
His Excellency Juma Bin Thalith, President of the Emirates Diving Association, confirmed that the Association is a body with a special status, registered and recognized in the United Arab Emirates, and works to regulate the diving sector in accordance with the best environmental practices, in addition to supporting and developing diving activities by coordinating the efforts of the diving community, and enhancing security and safety standards in recreational diving.
His Excellency Ahmed Ibrahim Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Fujairah International Marine Sports Club, explained that the club seeks to spread and develop marine sports at the level of the Emirate of Fujairah, create a safe and healthy environment for various segments of society, and encourage individuals to practice marine activities.
Mr. Muhammad Faraj Jaber, member of the Association’s Board of Directors and Inspector General, stated that the Association’s role constitutes a fundamental pillar in ensuring compliance with security and safety standards in the diving sector.
The partnership aims to unify efforts between the two parties to enhance safe diving practices, develop regulatory frameworks, and support environmental initiatives, including protecting the marine environment, planting coral reefs, and organizing clean-up campaigns.
