Egypt condemns in the strongest terms the missile and drone attacks against the UAE

The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the heinous attacks launched using missiles and drones to target the territory of the United Arab Emirates, which resulted in a fire breaking out in an oil facility in the Emirate of Fujairah, and the injury of a number of individuals.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed its full solidarity and support for the measures taken by the UAE to protect its capabilities and national sovereignty, and its categorical rejection of any practices aimed at intimidating people or destabilizing the Arabian Gulf region.

Egypt warned of the extremely dangerous repercussions of these attacks, stressing that they represent a dangerous escalation that hinders efforts to calm and reduce escalation, and also constitute a flagrant violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
