Sharjah Heritage participates in the Rabat International Publishing and Book Fair 2026

Rabat, May 5 / WAM / The Sharjah Heritage Institute is participating in the Rabat International Publishing and Book Fair 2026, whose activities continue until May 10 through a diverse program.

The institute’s pavilion presents more than 1,200 titles in the fields of Emirati, Gulf, Arab and international cultural heritage.

His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, stressed that the Institute’s participation in the Rabat International Publishing and Book Fair this year is of special importance, as it coincides with the selection of Rabat as the World Book Capital 2026, indicating that this presence embodies the depth of Arab cultural relations, and reflects the growing common interest in heritage as a pillar of identity.

He explained that the Institute has continued for years to highlight the Moroccan heritage, with its diversity and richness, by publishing specialized works of knowledge and highlighting Moroccan researchers and writers, within a comprehensive cultural vision that seeks to celebrate Arab achievement and enhance its presence in the intellectual scene. This is evident through intellectual seminars, scientific meetings, and book signings accompanying the exhibition.

He added that participation comes as an extension of the Institute’s efforts to support Arab culture, through qualitative publications and knowledge projects, in addition to organizing seminars, scientific meetings, and book signings, which contribute to consolidating the presence of Arabic books, preserving the cultural heritage, and transmitting it to future generations with a contemporary vision.
