"Sharjah Arts" She participates in the production of two shows at the Konstin Festival in Brussels
Sharjah, May 5 / WAM / Sharjah Arts Foundation is participating in the production of two performances that will be presented for the first time globally at the Konsten Arts Festival in Brussels 2026. Apicapong Weerasethakul and Maria Hasabi present two artistic works that combine performance, cinema, and choreography.
Director Apicapong Weerasethakul will present his work “Flower of Forgetting” from May 8 to 11 at the “Les Brigittines” church, while artist Maria Hassabi will present her work “We” from May 17 to 19 at the Bouzar Center for Fine Arts.
The participation of the Sharjah Art Foundation in the production of these two works confirms its commitment to supporting multidisciplinary artistic practices and enhancing the presence of contemporary artists on the international scene, in addition to consolidating its role in supporting global artistic production and cultural exchange.
