"Sharjah Heritage Institute" Celebrates Moroccan and Andalusian heritage


Rabat, 5 May / WAM / The Sharjah Institute for Heritage, as part of its participation in the Rabat International Publishing and Book Fair, and in cooperation with the National Center for Instrumental Tarab in Rabat, yesterday evening, organized a session entitled “Andalusian and Moroccan Heritage…the Link” with the participation of an elite group of researchers and academics. It discussed aspects of cultural and historical interaction between the two fields and shed light on the common extensions that shaped the features of cultural identity.
The session was distinguished by its combination of scientific presentation and artistic manifestation with authentic Andalusian rhythms in a painting that embodied the depth of the Moroccan-Andalusian heritage and highlighted its aesthetic richness and ability to express collective memory.
The event witnessed the signing of a group of publications specialized in Andalusian heritage, in addition to an Andalusian musical performance presented by the band affiliated with the National Center for Instrumental Tarab.
The Sharjah Heritage Institute’s participation in the exhibition continues through a series of scientific sessions, intellectual seminars, and the signing of publications.
