“Mepco” turns to a loss of two million riyals in the first quarter of 2026

The Middle East Paper Manufacturing and Production Company (MEPCO) turned into a loss at the end of the first quarter of 2026 with a net loss of approximately two million riyals, compared to a net profit of 5.3 million riyals in the same quarter of the previous year.

According to what the company announced on "Saudi Arabia trading"The recording of losses was mainly due to the decrease in revenues and gross profit, in addition to the increase in impairment losses on financial assets, which led to a shift from a net profit in the same quarter of the previous year to a net loss during the current quarter.

This was partially offset by a decrease in some operating expenses, financing expenses, and zakat.
