Abu Dhabi.. Prohibition of delivery bicycles on highways, starting from May 15

The Integrated Transport Center (Abu Dhabi Transport) announced a ban on delivery bikes on some main roads in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, effective May 15.
The Center stated that this measure comes within the framework of the Center’s efforts to enhance traffic safety and protect bikers and road users.

The center explained through its official account on the “X” platform that the ban decision includes: roads with a permissible speed of 120 km/h or more, in addition to Sheikh Zayed Road, in the area extending from the Sheikh Zayed Bridge to the Sheikh Zayed Tunnel.
