Between “Shaabi and Sa’idi”.. Ahmed Al-Awadi enthuses his followers about his series in Ramadan 2027

The artist Ahmed Al-Awadi returned to ignite his fans’ enthusiasm early for the Ramadan 2027 drama season, after he launched a new interactive competition, through his official Facebook account, in which he asked his followers to predict the nature of his next dramatic project, wondering whether he would return with a popular work carrying the popular spirit with which his name was associated, or whether he would turn to the Upper Egypt drama, in which he had previously achieved a remarkable presence.
The competition, which Al-Awadhi announced, did not pass by for his audience, but rather quickly turned into a wide area of discussion and expectations, especially with the great popularity he has enjoyed in recent years, and his ability to create a state of public interaction by simply publishing any details related to his new works. The Egyptian artist was keen to keep the door for participation open until nine in the morning, in a move that seemed to be an early test of the public’s pulse and inclinations towards his next dramatic character.

It seems that Al-Awadi has become well aware of the nature of the special relationship that links him with his audience, as he frequently relies on direct interaction with him, whether through competitions, or the gradual excitement of his artistic works, a strategy that has contributed to strengthening his presence on social media sites, and turning every new project into a subject for discussion before the start of filming, or the official announcement.
This public interaction comes at a time when Al-Awadhi is experiencing an active professional stage, especially after the success he achieved recently through the series “Ali Clay,” which established his image as a hero of popular works of an activism and social nature. The series presented the character of a young man who has a talent for boxing, and tries to balance his sporting ambition with his daily responsibilities in the car spare parts trade, amid a network of family and emotional conflicts, which gave the work a human character close to the audience.
Many observers believed that the success of the “Ali Clay” series did not depend solely on the action scenes, but rather on Al-Awadhi’s ability to present a character bearing the features of the Egyptian street in a simple and spontaneous spirit, which made some suggest that he would return, again, to popular drama in Ramadan 2027, as it is the space closest to his artistic presence and public popularity.
On the other hand, another group of audiences expected a return to Upper Egypt works, especially since this dramatic genre gave Al-Awadhi a strong presence in previous stages, due to the sharp charisma it requires, and a performance that relies on strength and emotion, which are elements that have become associated with his acting style in recent years.

The film’s events take place in a context of excitement and complex relationships, through the story of a girl who relies on her beauty and intelligence. To trap a number of wealthy businessmen inside a nightclub, before the events become intertwined in a context full of chases and surprises.
The film makers are counting on providing a different audience experience, combining action and fast pace, a path in which Al-Awadhi has become one of the most prominent faces in cinema and television in recent years, taking advantage of his physical presence and direct style of performance.
