"Abu Dhabi Arabic Language" Shows 500 issues per "Doha Book Fair"

Abu Dhabi, May 12 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, during its participation in the 35th session of the Doha International Book Fair, whose activities will be held during the period from May 14 to 23, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, will display more than 500 publications, including 100 new titles.

The center’s pavilion provides a comprehensive platform at the exhibition for thought leaders and reading enthusiasts to view the latest international publications and translations, which include various fields of knowledge, including literature, science, philosophy, history, and children’s books, as part of the publications of its projects “Kalima” for translation, “Publications” for Arabic publishing, and the “Insights Series for Research and Studies” and others.

This participation is consistent with the center’s objectives aimed at enhancing the presence of the Arabic language and activating the Arab cultural and intellectual creativity movement, by highlighting its new programs and innovative initiatives, promoting the publications of its projects, and presenting them to the various segments of the Arab public visiting the exhibition, in addition to examining the prospects for cooperation with the authorities concerned with the book industry, publishing, translation and creative content, and identifying the latest developments in publishing techniques.

Thirty-six countries, represented by 515 publishing houses and destinations distributed over 910 pavilions, are participating in the 35th session of the Doha International Book Fair. The exhibition is an important cultural event that keeps pace with the aspirations of exhibitors, publishing industry, writers, and authors. Its cultural initiatives and events also receive great interest from various age groups aspiring to gain science and knowledge.
