"Your support" and"Federal Youth Union" Announcing the winners of the Financial Content Creators Grant

ABU DHABI, 13th May, 2017 (WAM) – The Banking and Insurance Disputes Settlement Unit in the UAE, “Sanadak”, in cooperation with the Federal Youth Authority, as part of celebrating World Finance Week under the slogan “Smart Talk About Money”, announced the names of the winners of the “Sanadak for Financial Content Creators” grant, which aims to support graduates of the “Young Financial Advisors” program and enable them to employ their skills and knowledge in providing reliable and influential financial content that contributes to raising the level of financial awareness among members of society in the UAE.

This grant embodies the pivotal role of the “SANADIC” unit in supporting financial education and consumer protection, and enhancing trust between society and the banking and insurance sectors, through innovative initiatives that expand access to financial knowledge and establish responsible behavior.

The scholarship was won by Sheikha Hassouni and Khadija Al-Hammadi, who in turn will represent the SENDEC unit in an innovative and responsible manner, as ambassadors for financial culture, reflecting the unit’s role in protecting the financial consumer, raising financial awareness, and enhancing confidence in the financial and insurance system in the country.

Fayza Al-Awadhi, CEO and Managing Director of the “Sanadak” unit, said that the “Sanadak” grant for financial content makers embodies the strategic vision of promoting financial inclusion, supporting and empowering young financial talents, and providing them with the knowledge and tools necessary to be effective partners in spreading financial culture and promoting responsible financial behavior.

She pointed out that the launch of this scholarship for graduates of the Young Financial Advisors Program reflects the belief that knowledge, when translated into effective content, becomes a real tool for building confidence and enhancing the stability of the financial system, in line with the national trends of the UAE.

For his part, His Excellency Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Foundation, said that cooperation with the SANDAC Unit comes within the framework of supporting specific initiatives that contribute to empowering young national competencies and enhancing their readiness to actively participate in building a financially conscious society.

He added that the Young Financial Advisors Program, in addition to the Financial Content Creators Grant, represents an advanced model of institutional partnership aimed at establishing financial culture, and providing participants with the tools and knowledge necessary to transfer these concepts to society in innovative and responsible ways.

Among the conditions and criteria for the scholarship is that the applicant must be a graduate of the Young Financial Advisors Program and hold a financial influencer’s license from the Capital Market Authority, in addition to submitting visual content in which the applicant explains how to contribute to spreading financial culture in the country, and that the applicant must pass his interview with the management of the “SANADIC” unit.

Outstanding applicants were selected to provide them with professional production tools, which include advanced photography equipment, such as a camera, camera stand, lighting equipment, and sound equipment, enabling them to produce high-quality digital content, enhance their digital presence, and build sustainable platforms in the financial content industry.

World Money Week is an annual international campaign organized by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to promote financial culture among young people and children, and enable them to make wise and healthy financial decisions.

This is in line with the efforts of the “SANADIC” unit in enhancing financial awareness among members of society, which reflects on financial inclusion and proactive prevention among the financial consumer in the UAE.
