Guterres condemns a drone attack near a nuclear power plant in Abu Dhabi

Guterres stressed that he has constantly warned against any further escalation of the conflict in the Middle East region, “and this incident provides an additional reason for all parties to completely stop the fighting.”

The Secretary-General stressed the need not to launch further attacks near civilian infrastructure, including nuclear power plants, adding that “Attacks targeting nuclear facilities are completely unacceptable, are a violation of international law, and must be condemned.”
