“You are the pride of the nation” gives Dubai Police a Guinness World Record

The Dubai Police General Headquarters set a new record in the Guinness Book of World Records, after organizing a video meeting entitled “You are the pride of the nation,” attended by 9,348 male and female employees of the Dubai Police, to be approved as the largest attendance at a video meeting in the world, in an achievement recorded for the first time in a new category in the encyclopedia.

Dubai Police was able to exceed the minimum set by the Guinness World Records team to certify the record, amounting to 5,000 participants, to achieve a double number that reflects the volume of interaction and team spirit among its members.

Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs at Dubai Police, Major General Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad, received the official accreditation certificate from the Guinness Book of Records adjudicator, Kenzi Al-Dafrawi, at the Dubai Police General Headquarters, in the presence of the Director of the General Department of Human Resources, Brigadier Rashid Nasser, and the Director of the Employee Relations Department in the General Department of Human Resources, Colonel Abdullah Muhammad Hassan, along with a number of employees of the General Department of Human Resources and the General Department of Artificial Intelligence who supervised the Coordinating and organizing the meeting.

Major General Dr. Saleh Murad stressed that achieving this record reflects the Dubai Police General Command’s keenness to establish a culture of institutional appreciation and enhance the spirit of belonging among employees, noting that the video meeting came under the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, with the aim of thanking and appreciating all workers in the various police sectors, in appreciation of their exceptional efforts and their keenness to enhance security and safety and serve the nation during the current stage.

He added that organizing the meeting coincided with the “Proud of the Emirates” campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, with the aim of consolidating national identity and enhancing feelings of pride in the achievements achieved by the country in various fields.

He explained that the meeting brought together the largest number of employees at one time via a live visual platform, and witnessed a number of interventions that reviewed the efforts of the field teams and the results achieved by the various departments, in addition to conveying direct messages of appreciation to the employees and informing them of the praises that Dubai Police received from the highest levels.

For her part, the accredited arbitrator of the Guinness Book of World Records, Kenzi Al-Dafrawi, said that the Guinness World Records team set five thousand participants as a minimum to approve a new record in this category, after studies and comparisons conducted on similar international numbers, noting that the Dubai Police exceeded the required number by a large margin through the participation of 9,348 male and female employees in the video meeting. She confirmed that the Dubai Police General Command met all the conditions and standards required to approve the record, praising the team spirit and high organization that enabled the gathering of such a large number in one direct meeting, which contributed to officially registering the world record in the name of Dubai Police.
