High prices of meat, poultry and fish in Saudi Arabia

The bulletin of average prices of goods and services issued by the Statistics Authority showed an increase in the prices of meat, poultry and fish in Saudi Arabiaduring last April on a monthly basis.
Meat Prices
According to the bulletin, the price of fresh beef increased by 0.6% to 53.5 per kilo, while the price of fresh lamb increased by 0.7% to 68 riyals.
The price of imported chilled lamb increased by 1% to 55.8 riyals per kilo, while the price of fresh camel meat increased by 0.1%. To 54.5 riyals per kilo.
Poultry prices
Record price Local fresh chicken rose by 0.6% on a monthly basis last April, reaching 17.4 riyals for"900 gm"
The price of local frozen chicken increased by 0.4 riyals, to 18.9 riyals, while the price of imported frozen chicken rose by 5.3% to 19.1 riyals.
The price of fresh chicken thighs increased by 0.7% to 9.6 riyals, while the price of chicken breast fillet increased by 1% to 20.8 riyals.
Fish prices
The price of Kingfish rose by 7.7% to 71.9 riyals per kilogram, while the price of grouper rose by 4.6% to 60.8 riyals.
The price of fresh peeled shrimp recorded last April on a monthly basis by 4% to 83.6 riyals per kilogram.
