Saudi Arabia snatched a valuable point from Uruguay with a thrilling 1-1 draw on Monday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, as part of Group H in the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Saudi Arabia advanced with a goal by Ali Al-Amiri (41), and Uruguay equalized through Maxi Araujo (80) in a match in which Al-Akhdar goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais excelled with nine wonderful saves.

“The Green” will play its second match in Atlanta against Spain, which was shocked by a draw with Cape Verde, before meeting the latter in the third match in Houston.
