Ammar bin Humaid adopts a strategy "Generations 2026" To empower youth and create future leaders

Ajman, May 19 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, approved the strategy of the “Generations 2026” programme, which aims to empower generations through knowledge, future skills and qualitative partnerships, and build paths that support youth participation in development and decision-making, in line with the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030 “Ajman for the People”.

His Highness stressed that investing in generations is an investment in the future of the emirate, pointing out the importance of building supportive environments for discovering talent and developing capabilities, and connecting young people with knowledge and qualitative opportunities, which contributes to preparing a conscious and innovative generation, capable of making a positive contribution to society.

The “Ajyal 2026” strategy targets age groups from 11 to 24 years, through gradual paths that take into account the developmental characteristics of each stage, and move participants from discovery and building confidence to identifying trends, then empowerment, participation, and making an impact.

The “Ajyal 2026” strategy is based on four main objectives, including empowering generations through specialized knowledge and future skills, building a research system to understand the reality of young people and their needs, enhancing the policy-making approach directed at generations, in addition to developing a system of integrated partnerships that support their empowerment and expand opportunities for their community and development participation.

The strategy also seeks to develop a flexible knowledge and policy system based on a realistic and renewed understanding of the needs of generations, and to transform the outcomes of studies and youth participation into visions and recommendations that contribute to the development of programs and policies related to youth, education and empowerment.

The strategy emphasized that “Ajyal” represents an integrated development platform concerned with empowering youth through practical educational experiences, qualitative partnerships, and development paths based on future skills, creativity, and community participation, which contributes to preparing a generation capable of shaping its future and actively participating in community development.

During a tour of the accompanying exhibition, His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman was briefed on a group of projects, initiatives and works participating within the “Ajyal” program, which reflected the talents, creativity and community initiatives of the participants, and the program’s role in building a more aware, involved and influential generation in the development process.
