A Syrian soldier was killed by a car bomb explosion near a building belonging to the Ministry of Defense in Damascus

A Syrian soldier was killed, and 12 were injured with varying injuries, today, Tuesday, as a result of a car bomb explosion near a building belonging to the Syrian Ministry of Defense in the Bab Sharqi area of Damascus.
The Media and Communications Department of the Syrian Ministry of Defense said: “One of the Syrian army groups discovered an explosive device prepared for detonation near one of the buildings belonging to the Ministry of Defense in the Bab Sharqi area in Damascus,” adding that during an attempt to dismantle the device, a car bomb exploded in the same area, killing the soldier and wounding others with varying injuries.
The Director of Ambulance and Emergency in the Syrian Ministry of Health, Dr. Najeeb Al-Naasan, stated that the car explosion led to 12 injuries, who were transferred to nearby hospitals in the area, and the necessary health procedures were provided to the injured.
