"Abu Dhabi Judiciary" Appointments for video calls are set for inmates in correctional centers during Eid al-Adha
Abu Dhabi, May 20 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department approved the schedule for visual communication between inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centers and their families during the Eid Al Adha holiday, in line with its ongoing efforts to strengthen family ties and consolidate human values by providing a correctional environment that takes into account the psychological and social aspects of inmates, and to support their effective communication with their family environment as an essential part of the rehabilitation system.
The period extending from Tuesday, May 26, until Friday, May 29, 2026, was set as the date for holding the digital sessions, to be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm, with the morning period of Friday allocated for inmates to communicate with their families from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The sessions are carried out through the “Nafizati” smart application, which allows guests to communicate with their families remotely through designated centers equipped with the latest technical means, ensuring ease of procedures and streamlined service.
The Judicial Department provided the possibility of booking appointments electronically through the Abu Dhabi Government Services platform “Tamm”, or through the following link www.adpolice.gov.ae, provided that the applicant receives a text message with approval that includes the specific date and the designated center for making the video call.
