“Al-Youm” was spotted during its tour in the halls of “”, located in the center of the for exhibitions and events, cameras and equipment for the large international and local presence, which exceeded 2,000 representatives and media professionals from various countries of the world, within the framework of strengthening international media cooperation and reviewing the latest developments and services provided to the guests of God.

The forum witnessed the participation of media and diplomatic delegations from a number of countries, including Jordan, Pakistan, Syria, Kenya, Libya, Egypt, and India, in addition to the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Jeddah, as part of activities aimed at highlighting the organizational and technical efforts related to serving pilgrims and Umrah.

Hajj Media Forum

During the tour, I was briefed “Al-Youm” highlighted the integrated services system that the participating entities are reviewing within the “Transformation Exhibition,” which reflects the extent of technical and organizational development in the Hajj and Umrah system, and the solutions provided by government agencies that contribute to improving the experience of the pilgrim, Umrah pilgrim, and visitor.

The participating parties in reviewing their initiatives and services included the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, and the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, in addition to The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, as these entities presented various models of digital initiatives and operational services related to the Hajj season.

The exhibition also showcased a group of innovative technical solutions, the most prominent of which is the “Nask” digital platform, which represents one of the advanced initiatives in facilitating Hajj and Umrah procedures electronically, in addition to providing interactive experiences for visiting historical sites using virtual reality technologies, in a way that enhances the experience of visitors, pilgrims and Umrah performers and enriches their journey of faith and knowledge.

Innovations and solutions supporting the Hajj system

Al-Youm observed praise from participating international delegations for the level of digital development and field coordination demonstrated by the Saudi authorities, stressing that what has been achieved reflects the magnitude of the efforts made in employing modern technology to serve the pilgrims and facilitate their performance of the rituals with flexibility and high efficiency.

The “Hajj Media Forum” is a specialized platform for exchanging media experiences and reviewing the latest innovations and supportive solutions. For the Hajj system, it is organized by the Unified Media Operations Center for Hajj at the Ministry of Information in cooperation with the “Grand Hajj Symposium”.

This is within the framework of supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at improving the quality of services provided to the guests of God and enhancing the Hajj and Umrah experience.
