Iranian enriched uranium will be destroyed or transferred

US President Donald Trump said on Monday that Iranian enriched uranium will either be transported to the United States for destruction or destroyed at its site inside Iran, as part of ongoing negotiations regarding a possible agreement to end the war with Tehran.

Trump wrote on his “Truth Social” platform that the enriched uranium will be “immediately” delivered to the United States and destroyed there, or destroyed in its place in coordination with the Iranian side, noting that the process must take place in the presence of “the Atomic Energy Commission or its equivalent.”
