A 4.8-magnitude earthquake strikes Pakistan, causing no casualties

Today, an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale struck large areas of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, and the Punjab province, without recording any human or material losses. The Pakistan Meteorological and Geological Survey Department stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 18 kilometers in the Punjab province.
