Abu Dhabi’s cultural and entertainment destinations offer distinguished interactive events and activities on Eid Al Adha

Abu Dhabi, 27 May / WAM / During the Eid Al Adha holiday, museums and entertainment facilities in Abu Dhabi constitute a vibrant destination that combines entertainment, culture and arts, and offers a program full of events and immersive experiences.

Over the course of the Eid Al Adha holiday, the Louvre Abu Dhabi offers its visitors multiple artistic and cultural experiences, including audio and movement performances, in addition to international film screenings under its iconic dome.

The program includes the “floating breathing exercises” experience, which provides meditation and relaxation sessions within an immersive audio environment on floating mattresses, giving participants an atmosphere of calm and balance.

The museum offers the “We Are Not Alone” experience, an audio-visual journey that explores the worlds of superintelligence and interstellar travel, with international voices, including the voice of Emirati artist Hussein Al Jasmi.

The museum is showing the film “The Great Journey,” which, with a poignant human vision, deals with the journey of a father and his son from southern France to Mecca, celebrating the spirit of Eid al-Adha and its human values.

As part of celebrating Emirati heritage and national identity, the Zayed National Museum will host the “Eid Joy” program during the period from May 27 to 31, which includes a wide range of cultural and interactive activities that combine poetry, music, traditional crafts, and storytelling.

The activities highlight an innovative poetry experience organized by “Hayakum in Abu Dhabi”, the tourism identity of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, where visitors meet poets in Arabic and English to transform their memories and personal experiences into original poems inspired by the spirit of Abu Dhabi and the diversity of its society.

The museum also offers an “Eid morning” experience inspired by the traditional Emirati Majlis, which includes Nabati poetry, mankos art, Emirati coffee, and live musical performances, in addition to workshops on handicrafts, dokhoon making, and Eid souvenirs, as well as folk art performances such as “Al-Ayyala,” “Al-Harbiyah,” and “Naashaat,” which enhances the presence of Emirati heritage in a family festive atmosphere.

While the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi offers a rich program that combines creativity and nature, through workshops and interactive activities directed at children and families, including decorating Eid cookies, weaving palm fronds, henna patterns, and mosaic art inspired by nature, in addition to exploratory and architectural tours that introduce visitors to the museum’s vision and sustainable design.

Yas Island continues to strengthen its position as a leading entertainment destination during Eid, through its international entertainment cities that offer experiences suitable for all ages.

At Ferrari World, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, visitors experience an atmosphere of speed and excitement through a group of roller coasters and games that hold world records, while Yas Waterworld, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, provides renewable water experiences that include the latest expansions, such as “Matameer Drops,” the tallest water slide tower in the country.

Warner Bros. World, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi gives families the opportunity to embark on immersive adventures with famous international characters within six entertainment zones that combine imagination, interaction and games inspired by films and animation.

These various programs reflect Abu Dhabi’s keenness to provide integrated experiences during Eid Al Adha, mixing fun, knowledge and heritage, and providing families and visitors with an exceptional atmosphere that celebrates the values ​​of Eid and the spirit of Emirati society.
