المملكة: Between tears of gratitude and the pain of separation… a pilgrim from Australia bids farewell to the greatest journey

The morning of departure was not like the rest of the mornings for Hajj Abdul Rahman Abdo from Australia, one of the guests of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program for Hajj, Umrah and visits, while the buses were preparing to transport The pilgrimsto their destinations. He stood silently contemplating the final scene of his journey of faith, as if his heart refused to leave the place where he lived the most beautiful days of his life.

His eyes were chasing the mountains of Meccaand its roads and its sacred feelings, before his tears preceded his words, he tried to hide his emotion, but he could not prevent the tears of longing, love and gratitude from flowing as he bid farewell to the land that embraced his prayers, prostrations and wishes.

He said in a voice in which feelings of joy and sadness mixed: “I came to this trip carrying the wish of Hajj for many years, and today I leave and God has blessed me with its fulfillment. I feel That a part of my soul will remain here, in Mecca and the holy sites.”
