The UAE participates with 11 male and female players in the Ulaanbaatar Grand Slam Judo Championship

Abu Dhabi, May 30 / WAM / The Emirates Judo Federation announced the approval of the participation of our national team in the 2026 Ulaanbaatar Grand Slam Championship, which is organized by the Mongolian Federation under the supervision of the International Federation of Judo, from 19 to 21 next June, with the participation of 55 countries.
The federation explained in a statement that the list includes 11 male and female players: Simone Constantine, under 60 kg, Narmand Bayan, under 66 kg, Naji Yazbek and Muhammad Bey, under 73 kg, Omar Gad, Talal Shaveli, under 81 kg, Aram Goorjian, under 90 kg, Dhofar Kosov, under 100 kg, Omar Marouf, over 100 kg, and Bashirat Kharudi, 52 kg. And Elisa Letev under 78 kg.
He noted that the delegation is headed by Dr. Nasser Al-Tamimi, member of the National Olympic Committee and Vice President of the Federation, and includes coach Viktor Sykov and his assistant staff, noting that the draw for the tournament will be held on June 18.
His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al-Darai, President of the Federation, said that the tournament is gaining qualitative importance within the national team’s agenda with the competition stations in the tournaments scheduled under the supervision of the International Federation, in light of the participation of major international teams, in a way that enhances the competitive experiences of male and female players.
