The capabilities in that time were weak, despite the small number of pilgrims. However, in the modern era, and with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s care for the Guests of the Most Merciful from all depths, their security and safety is a priority, from the ports of entry until the completion of the rituals and the farewell of the pilgrims there.
The efforts of the Saudi Civil Defense, one of the enablers of the Ministry of the Interior in the Saudi State, under its various names, since its founding about 300 years ago, has taken great measures for the safety of the guests of God, as it established multiple centers at the ports and along their passage routes until they reach Medina to visit and the holy sites to perform the Hajj, safe and secure, accompanied by services, and equipped with machinery and technology, and security, safety, and firefighting personnel.
And the efforts of the General Directorate were completed. Civil Defense, before the arrival of the Guests of the Most Merciful, made thousands of visits to their headquarters and shelter centers, verifying them and ensuring that they contain all their security and safety capabilities, reviewing them throughout the year, and violating those who were negligent in accordance with the strict Saudi regulations and instructions in everything related to human life, the Guest of the Most Merciful.

And in the Holy Sites, the Civil Defense centers were prepared for the guests, and honored them in a manner befitting their arrival, and harnessed its capabilities. Material resources, human energies, and technical progress to serve them in every inch of Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah, Jamarat, and the Two Holy Mosques, and in every pedestrian sidewalk, camp, or building, and even in their transportation buses and departure halls by air, land, and sea.
The volunteers of the General Directorate of Civil Defense have achieved national achievements in serving the pilgrims, guiding them, answering their inquiries, supporting them, and providing first aid to them, to perform Their Hajj was easy and safe, as their efforts supported the civil defense men and women in the field, operating rooms, shelter centers, and proactive awareness, in Mecca, Medina, ports, governorates, and border areas.
The Directorate, like all sectors of the Ministry of Interior and government agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announced its preparations early to serve the guests of God next year (1448 AH / 2027 AD), so the pilgrims This year, they left the holy sites, and the services provided to them were evaluated and their impact was measured, starting from the outlets until the rituals.
