Dubai, June 1, 2017 – Al Jazira team topped the ranking of ADNOC Professional League clubs as it had the highest marketing value among all participating clubs, with a total value of 43.33 million euros at the end of the football season and the beginning of this month of June.
The football season had ended with Al Ain winning the ADNOC Professional League and His Highness the President’s Cup, while Al Wahda won the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup.
According to data from the Transfer Market website, which specializes in football numbers and statistics, Shabab Al-Ahly came in second place with a marketing value of 40.60 million euros, slightly ahead of Al-Wasl, which came in third with a value of 40.48 million euros.
While Al Ain ranked fourth with a value of 33.43 million euros, Al Wahda came in fifth place with a value of 31.58 million euros, followed by Sharjah in sixth place with a value of 30.43 million euros, then Al Nasr in seventh place with a value of 27.88 million euros.
In the second half of the ranking, Kalba ranked eighth with a value of 14.45 million euros, Baniyas ninth with a value of 13.49 million euros, Ajman tenth with a value of 12.81 million euros, Al-Bataeh in eleventh place with a value of 12.40 million euros, and Khor Fakkan in twelfth place with a value of 12.23 million euros.
Al Dhafra came in thirteenth place with a marketing value of 7.13 million euros, while Dibba came in the fourteenth and last place with a value of 6.51 million euros.
The data showed that the total marketing value of the ADNOC Professional League clubs amounted to 326.71 million euros, compared to 361.44 million euros in mid-May, a total decrease of 34.73 million euros, equivalent to about 9.6% of the total value of the clubs.
