3 Palestinians were killed and others wounded by Israeli fire in Gaza

Three Palestinian citizens were killed, and others were injured, today, Tuesday, by shelling and fire by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.

A Palestinian was killed and four others were injured today after a civilian vehicle was targeted east of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, according to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

The hospital said that a 32-year-old man was killed as a result of the targeting that took place on Salah al-Din Street near Al-Mazraa School, east of the city, while four others were injured, some of whom’s wounds were described as “serious.”

The hospital added that the injured were transferred to emergency departments to receive treatment, in light of the continuing pressures faced by medical teams and the lack of available capabilities.

The Palestinian Information Center quoted a local source as saying that “a citizen was killed by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets near Al-Abbara Street, northeast of the city of Khan Yunis.”

He added, “The occupation forces arrested two young men who were accompanying the dead man after shooting at a group of citizens while they were collecting firewood near the ferry area.”

He pointed out, “A citizen was killed and others were injured at midnight last night as a result of a bombing by an Israeli drone that targeted a security point in the Al-Farouq neighborhood in the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.”

Israeli forces carried out major bombing operations east of Khan Yunis and east of Gaza, in addition to gunfire and artillery shelling targeting several areas of the eastern Gaza Strip.

In a related context, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Strip’s hospitals received one dead and nine injured during the past 24 hours, noting that a number of victims are still under the rubble and in inaccessible areas.

The Ministry stated that the total number of deaths since the outbreak of war on October 7, 2023 rose to 72,942 people, while the number of injured reached 172,967.
