Abu Dhabi Police warns of the dangers of sudden deviation and failure to adhere to the lane

The Abu Dhabi Police General Command, in cooperation with the Monitoring and Control Centre, and as part of the “You Have a Comment” initiative, broadcast a video clip of traffic accidents that occurred as a result of sudden deviation and non-compliance with the mandatory lane, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance traffic awareness and raise levels of road safety, and in line with the strategic priority “smart road security.”

The Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate called on drivers to adhere to the mandatory lanes, not to change lanes suddenly or unsafely, and to ensure that the road is clear before moving between lanes or overtaking, stressing that these wrong behaviors are among the most prominent causes of traffic accidents and the resulting human and material losses.
