The Emirates Modern Pentathlon Federation honors those with achievements

The UAE Modern Pentathlon Federation concluded its 2025-2026 sports season with a honorary ceremony held at the Holiday International Hotel in Sharjah, in the presence of the President of the Federation, Dr. Hoda Al Matroushi, the Vice President of the Federation, Nasser Al Maamari, members of the Board of Directors, representatives of sponsors and strategic partners, along with a number of sports and administrative figures, male and female players, technical and administrative staff, and referees, in a celebratory evening that embodied the harvest of a busy season. With achievements and successes.

The ceremony was a platform to honor distinguished achievers at the local and international levels, and to celebrate the great efforts made by coaches, administrators and referees, as well as to honor the sponsoring institutions and strategic partners who contributed to supporting the Union’s journey and development programs throughout the season.

During the ceremony, the Federation reviewed the most prominent stations, tournaments and programs that it implemented throughout the sports season, which contributed to expanding the base of modern pentathlon practitioners in the country, and enhancing its presence among various segments of society, especially the junior and youth categories, in line with the Federation’s strategy aimed at discovering talent and creating future champions.

The ceremony also highlighted the technical and organizational successes achieved during the season, which reflected the extent of the development witnessed by the game in the country, whether through external participation or through the organization of specialized local events and competitions, in addition to training and rehabilitation programs that targeted players, referees and coaches.

Dr. Hoda Al Matroushi expressed her happiness with the outcomes of the closing ceremony of the season, saying: “This season was full of work, giving, and challenges. We were able to achieve many technical and organizational gains, and to continue our steps towards developing the sport of modern pentathlon, enhancing its spread, and attracting more promising national talents.”

Al Matrooshi thanked the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee for their continued support, and the institutions supporting the federation and all elements of the game, saying: “I cannot fail to extend my thanks to our male and female players who were honorable ambassadors for the game, and to the coaches, administrators, referees and parents who formed an integrated work system that had the greatest role in achieving what we have achieved today.”

She continued: “Our honor today is not limited to achievements and results only, but extends to include the values ​​of commitment, teamwork, and true partnership that represent the basis of success and sustainability in any sports system. With the turning of the page on this season, we look forward to the next stage with greater confidence and ambition, especially with hosting the Asian Cup during the coming period, keeping in mind the continued development of the game and preparing champions capable of representing the UAE in the best way in various regional and international forums.”

The ceremony witnessed a festive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of one family within the Emirati modern pentathlon system, as attendees exchanged congratulations on the successes achieved during the season, stressing the importance of continuing joint work to preserve the gains and build on them in the coming seasons.

The ceremony concluded with honoring the distinguished people and taking memorial photos, amid widespread praise for the efforts made throughout the season, and a collective affirmation of continuing the process of development and success in preparation for the start of a new season that carries more ambitions, challenges and achievements.
