Oil prices rise by about 1%, affected by developments in the region and scarcity of supply

Capitals, June 10 / WAM / Oil prices rose by about one percent in early trading today, moving away from their lowest level in seven years.

Weeks recorded in the previous session, affected by developments in events in the Middle East, scarcity of supply and the significant decline in US crude inventories.

Brent crude futures rose 83 cents, or 0.9 percent, to $92.29 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude rose.

American rose 68 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $88.97.
