It called The General Authority for Media Regulation A citizen insulted one of the sister countries in an audio space on one of the social media platforms, where the regulatory procedures were completed regarding his violation, and he was referred to Public Prosecution dated June 8, as it is considered an information crime according to Article 6 of the Anti-Cybercrime Law.
This came after the competent authority in the Authority monitored on June 6, 2026 violating content in an audio space that included its exposure to the symbols and leaders of a sisterly country, which is considered a violation of the Anti-Cybercrime Law, which prohibits exposure to what would offend brotherly or friendly countries and their leaders and symbols, or disrupt By regulations.
The authority stressed that it continues to monitor all content that violates the regulations and media content controls, and that it will not hesitate to implement regulatory measures against those who commit violations based on its role in monitoring media content.
