Emirates Airlines receives the German Chancellor on its Airbus A380

Today, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Friedrich Miser, inspected the Emirates Airbus A380 aircraft during the opening of the ILA Berlin 2026 exhibition.

The German Chancellor was received by Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines, and Volker Greiner, Vice President of Emirates Airlines for Northern and Central Europe. Emirates also welcomed Berlin Mayor Kai Wegener and Brandenburg State Prime Minister Dr. Dietmar Woedke on board.

On the second day of this global aviation and space exhibition, the carrier is scheduled to receive Dr. Dietmar Woedke, Prime Minister of the State of Brandenburg, Manuela Schwesig, Prime Minister of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Michael Kretschmer, Prime Minister of Saxony, Sven Schulze, Prime Minister of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, and Mario Voigt, Prime Minister of the State of Thuringia, on board the largest passenger plane in the world.

As usual, the iconic Emirates Airbus A380 aircraft was a major attraction for visitors at the exhibition, attracting large numbers of visitors from the aviation and trade sectors, in addition to high-level national and international delegations.

Emirates Airlines is participating in ILA Berlin, which takes place from June 10 to 14, with its four-class A380 aircraft, confirming its firm commitment to this leading aviation and aerospace event in Europe.

The Emirates Airbus A380 is considered the largest and only aircraft of its kind at the exhibition, as the carrier has been keen to display its aircraft of this type at the ILA Berlin exhibition since 2010, which highlights its firm commitment to the German and European market, which extends for decades of cooperation, strategic partnerships and mutual benefits.
