"Sharjah electricity, water and gas" New water networks with a length of 37 km are being completed
SHARJAH, June 13, 2017 (WAM) – The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority announced the completion of a new project to extend water networks in the Al Zubair and Al Dabdaba areas, with a total length of 37 kilometers and a cost exceeding 25 million dirhams.
Engineer Faisal Al Sarkal, Director of Water Management at the Authority, explained that this project comes in line with the comprehensive strategic plans to raise the efficiency of water distribution, and keep pace with the ongoing urban and population expansion in the two regions, which represents a fundamental pillar within the Authority’s plans aimed at improving the quality of life, and ensuring access to clean, safe and sustainable drinking water to all citizens and residents around the clock in the Al-Zubair and Al-Dabdaba areas.
