المملكة: Exempting 6 categories of students from taking central exams in general education schools

The Ministry clarified that the list of exceptions directly includes schools for teaching adult girls, schools of continuing education, in addition to special education schools and institutes.

The directives added that the exemption decision extends to all categories of special education students integrated into general education schools.

The Ministry indicated The Ministry of Education stated that the exception to these tests also includes students on scholarship within the “Future Falcons” scholarship program, pointing out that students who were tested outside school, or who take their tests remotely due to special circumstances, are exempted from submitting to this central evaluation.

Application of central tests

The Ministry, on the other hand, confirmed the application of central tests on the rest of the students in public and private public education schools, noting that the evaluation specifically targets students in the third and sixth grades of primary school, in addition to Students in the third intermediate grade.

The central assessment includes the subjects of Arabic language and mathematics for all the aforementioned targeted grades, and students in the sixth primary and third intermediate grades are additionally tested in the subjects of science and the English language.

These tests come within the ministerial direction to employ measurement tools in developing teaching methods and accurately detecting the level of educational achievement.

The directives stressed the importance of these tests in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of educational performance, and identifying educational gaps. To process it. The results contribute to extracting accurate data, information and statistics that reflect the performance levels of students and the extent of their mastery of the required knowledge and skills.

The Ministry directed that schools be obligated not to assign male and female teachers of the targeted subjects to observe during the application of the test for the subjects of their specialization that they teach.

The directives required that students’ grades be monitored in the “Noor” system and that the results be issued on a forty-point scale only, stressing the necessity of not including the names of students exempted from the central test in the designated monitoring programs, with the phrase written “Absent” is for those who fail to attend.
