"Juma Al Majid Centre" He reviews the contributions of Islamic medical civilization at a conference in Turkmenistan

Dubai, June 16 / WAM / The Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai participated in the international conference “Science, Technology and Innovation in the Era of the Renaissance of a Strong State,” which was organized by the Academy of Sciences in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, over two days with the participation of 289 researchers and experts from various countries of the world, which reflects the status of the center and its role in promoting international scientific and cultural cooperation.

Dr. Mohamed Kamel Gad, Director General of the Center, delivered a speech during the main session, as a guest of honor, and presented a research paper entitled “Surgical technical development and its impact on the progress of medicine in Islamic civilization,” in which he reviewed the contributions of Islamic civilization to the development of medical sciences.

For his part, Alaberdy Ashirov, President of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, praised the center’s participation, stressing its role in serving the sources of science and culture and supporting scientific research at the regional and international levels.

He pointed to the scientific partnership extending for more than fifteen years between the center and the Institute of Manuscripts in Ashgabat, which contributed to the implementation of joint projects to serve the scientific heritage.
