المملكة: Jeddah Municipality licenses 26 pilot projects during the first half of 2026

Revealed reported growth in the issuance of licenses during the first half of the year 2026 AD, with a total of (26) new licenses to implement projects with building surfaces with a total area of ​​(1,269,353 square metres).

This comes within the secretariat’s efforts to , enhancing economic activity and creating an attractive commercial and investment destination.

New Projects

The Director of Pioneer Projects Licensing at the Municipality, Engineer Ali Al-Ghamdi, explained that the areas of land allocated for new projects exceeded (1.9 million square meters) during the first half of the current year.

It includes (4,458) building units, while the total license fees collected amounted to (5,682,540 riyals).

He stated that the Secretariat had amended, added, and renewed (19) existing entrepreneurial licenses, on a land area of (12,249,426 square metres), containing (5,630 units).

Enhancing urban and economic development

He pointed out that the index of entrepreneurial project licenses witnessed a significant increase during the current year, by 271% over last year, exceeding the total number of new licenses that It was issued by the secretariat during the period (from 2021 to 2024).

The Jeddah Municipality seeks to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, by promoting urban and economic development and supporting the investment environment, by issuing licenses for a number of projects.

It includes resorts, hotels, towers, complexes and various commercial centers, thus enhancing Jeddah’s position as an attractive tourist and investment destination.
