Tara Abboud: I am excited to have my first experience in horror films

Fans of Arab drama far and wide are well aware that the young Jordanian woman, Tara Abboud, is on the path to stardom with all capabilities, armed with her exceptional talent in acting, and her ability to embody most of the characters of all colors, and present them as if they were written for her.

After the great success that Tara experienced during the last Ramadan season, she has now confirmed her participation in the upcoming Arab horror film “Possessed,” the filming of which began earlier this week.

Great enthusiasm:

Tara Abboud showed her great enthusiasm; To participate in this youth film, on which the makers are betting heavily, she said in press statements: “I am very excited to participate in the film (Possessed), as this is the first time I have experienced the experience of presenting a horror film, so I consider it a new and different experience for me, and I also feel very happy to cooperate with the work team.”

Tara added that what motivates her to give her best is the state of love, understanding and harmony that prevails in the filming atmosphere from the first day of work, stressing that this gives her great pleasure in working with all of her colleagues, including the actors, the crew, and the technicians working with them.

Tara added that this love was a major reason for instilling a spirit of cooperation among everyone, in addition to each member of the team providing support to his other colleagues, as much as he could.

The young actress continued her speech, saying: The distinctive artistic vision of the director of the work, Yasser Al-Yasiri, had a great impact in raising their dose of optimism, as he amazes them every time with the way he looks at the story of the film, and how he cares about every small detail, hoping that the work will be admired by the Arab audience, and that it will be one of the distinctive works that people will remember for a long time.

A number of young actors are participating in the film “Mansored”, alongside Tara Abboud, most notably: Yasmina Al-Abd, Omar Raziq, Youssef Raafat, and Abdel Rahman Muhammad. It was written by Salah Al-Juhaini.

Second Egyptian cinematic experiments:

“Mansous” is not Tara’s first cinematic experience in Egypt, as she previously participated in the film “The Pasha’s Daughters,” which was shown at the “Cairo Film Festival 2025,” and many considered it the key to her entry into cinema in Egypt.

Although the details are few about the movie “Mansos,” the most important thing that distinguishes it, for Tara, is that it may be the first Egyptian cinematic work in which Tara participates, and during which she speaks in the Egyptian dialect, as this did not happen during her participation in “Banat Al-Basha,” after she presented the character of a Syrian girl working in a beauty salon.

Tara previously presented the Egyptian dialect, during her participation in the series “Pride of the Delta,” which was shown in 2025.

According to information obtained by Zahrat Al Khaleej, the story of the work revolves around a group of young people who want to experience scary places for themselves. With the aim of verifying the veracity of stories and narratives about these places; Let their experience turn into a real horror story.

The film “Mansus” is considered one of the most prominent and large-scale Arab cinematic productions this year, and its producers promise to present it according to unique international specifications, which enhance the exciting story that the work tells.
