The Head of State offers his condolences by telephone to the President of Venezuela for the victims of the earthquake

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, made a phone call with Delcy Rodriguez, Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, during which he expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy for the victims of the earthquake that recently struck the country, wishing His Highness a speedy recovery for the injured.

His Highness affirmed the UAE’s solidarity with Venezuela and its friendly people during these difficult circumstances. For her part, the President of Venezuela expressed her thanks to His Highness the President of the State for his sincere feelings of solidarity with the Venezuelan people, appreciating the urgent humanitarian response of the UAE in providing relief to those affected by the earthquake and mitigating its effects.

His Highness the President of the State had directed the provision of urgent relief aid to those affected by the earthquake in Venezuela, worth $10 million, as part of the UAE’s humanitarian solidarity to relieve the afflicted and assist those affected by natural disasters and crises in various parts of the world.
