"Abu Dhabi Islamic" Wins two awards at the 2026 Banking Services Awards

ABU DHABI, 29 JUNE / WAM / Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank won two awards at the Global Banking Services and Markets Awards in the Middle East 2026, as it won the awards for “Best Emerging Sukuk House of the Year” and “Best Islamic Finance Institution for Projects.”
In addition to the institutional awards, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank was honored in recognition of its role in executing a number of the most prominent deals during the year, as it won a number of awards, including “Best Deal for the First Issuance of Sovereign Sukuks Issued by Supra-Sovereign Institutions and Government Bodies,” “Best Syndicated Financing Deal for a Governmental or Semi-Governmental Entity,” “Best Syndicated Finance Deal for Companies,” “Best Project and Infrastructure Finance Deal,” “Best Real Estate Finance Deal,” and “Best High-Yield Sukuk Deal.”
Hakim Al-Qarawi, Global Head of the Corporate Banking Group at the bank, said that these awards reflect the strength of the financing solutions system provided by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, and its ability to develop innovative solutions that are compatible with the provisions of Islamic Sharia. He added that our growing presence in the sukuk market, in addition to our leadership in structured financing and project financing, enhances our ability to support our clients throughout the region.
He explained that during the past year, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank led a number of the largest and most prominent deals in the region and looks forward to continuing this success by continuing to provide solutions compatible with the provisions of Islamic Sharia that meet the needs of customers and support their growth plans.
