The USA Today website published a report confirming the date and cost of the wedding, as the ceremony is expected to be one of the most expensive weddings in history, according to the famous party coordinator Sonal Shah, who pointed out that the cost of renting the hall alone is approximately $2.5 million, while the total cost of the ceremony reaches $20 million.

Sonal Shah explained, during an interview with the New York Post, that renting the hall, which is the most famous hall in the world, during the weekend is not only limited to paying the venue fees, but also includes employee salaries, security, and operational operations. In addition to compensating the revenue that could have been achieved from holding a concert or sporting event on that date.

She added that the costs also include: hospitality, decorations, and entertainment, so it is natural that the cost ranges between 10 and 20 million dollars, an amount that represents a small percentage of Taylor’s wealth, who is considered a billionaire.

The Washington Post reported that an unannounced party had issued permits to close the streets surrounding Madison Square Garden from July 2 until noon on July 4, in preparation for a wedding scheduled for July 3.

Travis Kelsey proposed to Taylor Swift in August 2024, two years after announcing their relationship, through a romantic proposal in the garden of his home in Leatherwood, Kansas.
