"Trends Research and Consulting" Explores the prospects for knowledge cooperation with the International Institute for Cultural Diplomacy
ABU DHABI, June 30, 2017 (WAM) – Trends Research and Consulting and a delegation from the International Institute for Cultural Diplomacy discussed, during a dialogue session, opportunities for joint cooperation in the fields of research and knowledge, and mechanisms for developing strategic partnerships that contribute to supporting international dialogue and enhancing understanding between cultures and peoples, with the participation of an elite group of specialists in the fields of cultural diplomacy and international relations.
The two sides discussed a number of main topics, most notably enhancing research cooperation and exchanging experiences and knowledge, exploring opportunities to launch joint initiatives in the field of public and cultural diplomacy, in addition to discussing organizing scientific conferences, seminars, and joint research programs that contribute to enriching intellectual discussions on current international issues and enhancing the global presence of the two institutions.
The principal researcher, Mohammed Salem Al-Salmi, Director General of Trends Research and Consulting, confirmed that the meeting reflects Trends’ keenness to build effective international knowledge partnerships that contribute to the production of knowledge and support decision-making, pointing out that Trends looks forward to translating the outcomes of the meeting into practical projects and initiatives that enhance knowledge exchange and support joint efforts aimed at building bridges of cultural communication and enriching the research scene at the regional and international levels.
For his part, Dr. Salah Al-Habou, international advisor for business development at the institute, head of the visiting delegation, stressed that cooperation with “Trends” opens promising horizons for developing joint programs and projects in the fields of cultural diplomacy and scientific research.
