Two earthquakes in Venezuela: 3,000 dead and 16,000 injured

The death toll from the two devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela last week has risen to about 3,000, with more than 16,592 injured.
The latest statistics from the Venezuelan Ministry of Communications revealed that more than 16,000 people have become homeless, indicating that more than 856 buildings have been damaged.
While international rescue teams participating in search and rescue operations are preparing to leave Venezuela, after the chances of finding survivors began to diminish significantly.
