Summer camp starts "Our story" In the Saadiyat Cultural District

ABU DHABI, 6th July, 2017 (WAM) – The Saadiyat Cultural District’s summer camp activities, entitled “Our Story,” began today, which provides children with an interactive educational journey through three of the most prominent cultural institutions in the region, including the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and the Zayed National Museum, with the aim of introducing them to the history of the Earth, human creativity, and the national identity of the UAE.

Participants engage in a series of interactive activities and creative projects inspired by various themes, including plants and animals, landscapes and skies, movement and travel, and shapes and colours, in an experience that combines science, arts and heritage in an interesting way, which contributes to developing curiosity and a love of exploration in children, and enhances their understanding of the world around them through integrated educational and cultural experiences.

The camp targets children from 5 to 14 years old, and will continue for five weeks until August 7, 2026, from Tuesday to Friday, providing a summer program that combines learning and entertainment, and enhances the younger generations’ connection to the Saadiyat Cultural District and the pioneering cultural institutions it contains.
