The Health Insurance Council sets Medical devices are dispensed to ensure health care for users.

The Health Insurance Council mentioned 6 criteria as follows:

  • You must have a satisfactory medical condition such as heart disease, diabetes, or respiratory diseases.
  • Medical devices are dispensed through health care service providers licensed by the Food and Drug Authority according to the usual and reasonable prices.
  • There must be a medical justification during the validity period of the mandatory health insurance document to replace the existing device.
  • The device can be dispensed. Only once during the validity period of the mandatory health insurance policy.
  • The concerned authority may request the return of the old device to replace it.
  • A new device can be issued after the end of the life of the current device.

  • Preventive measures such as: (vaccinations, maternal and child care).
  • Disability cases according to the benefit limits specified in the policy schedule.
  • Treatment of dental and gum diseases, except braces and prosthetics.
  • Appliances. Medical.
  • Laboratory and radiological tests required by the condition.
  • Medical and non-medical care provided to persons unable to perform basic activities.
  • All hospitalization expenses, including surgical operations, one-day surgery or treatment, pregnancy and childbirth.
  • Expenses for preparing and returning the body of the deceased insured person to his aforementioned place of origin.
