A health crisis ends the life of an Egyptian fan during the Argentina match

An Egyptian citizen died, on Tuesday evening, as a result of a sudden health crisis he suffered while watching the Egyptian national team’s match against its Argentine counterpart, in the 2026 World Cup, inside a cafe east of Alexandria.

The security services in Alexandria Governorate received a report of the death of a person inside a café in the Raml First Police Department, so a security force accompanied by an ambulance moved to the site of the incident, where it was found that the citizen had died as a result of the health illness that struck him while watching the match.

The initial inspection showed that the deceased was sitting inside the cafe to watch the match and encourage the Egyptian team, before he was exposed to a sudden crisis that required informing the competent authorities.

The security services wrote a report on the incident, while the Public Prosecution began investigations to determine the circumstances of the death and take the necessary legal measures in preparation for issuing burial permits in accordance with the law.
