Mustafa Schubert is the fourth best goalkeeper in the 2026 World Cup

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) revealed the list of the best goalkeepers in the 2026 World Cup so far, based on an advanced digital evaluation system based on artificial intelligence.
The top five in the FIFA classification were as follows: Diogo Costa (Portugal), Gregor Koppel (Switzerland), Orlando Gil (Paraguay), Mostafa Schubert (Egypt), and Unai Simon (Spain).
The resounding surprise on the list came with the absence of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, despite his remarkable brilliance in the current version, and his historical mark in leading the “Atlas Lions” to eliminate the Dutch Windmills from the round of 32.
However, the map of the “elite guards” is in danger of being completely overturned with the start of the quarter-finals, as among the leading five, the trio of Diogo Costa, Orlando Gil, and Mustafa Schubert officially left the World Cup competitions.
