34 thousand beneficiaries of the program "Generations" In Dubai during the academic year 2025-2026

Dubai, July 10 / WAM / The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai announced the continuation of the implementation of the “Ajyal” program, in partnership with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai and the Ministry of Education, as part of its efforts to build generations that are aware and adhere to their national and Islamic values.

The department explained, in a statement today, that more than 34,000 participants benefited from the program during the 2025-2026 academic year through the implementation of more than 520 awareness lectures, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and enhances integration between the family and the school in raising generations.

During the academic year 2025-2026, the program achieved qualitative results through lectures presented by an elite group of specialized preachers and lecturers, while during the year 2026 it continued to expand its societal impact by implementing about 250 lectures from which more than 12 thousand participants benefited, which reflects the sustainability of the program and the expansion of its presence in educational and community institutions.

The program witnessed a comprehensive development in its awareness content, by identifying the topics most closely related to the needs of male and female students, and rebuilding awareness messages to keep pace with current issues and changes, to provide content more closely related to their reality and challenges, with a focus on strengthening national identity, Islamic values, belonging, social responsibility, intellectual security, and positive behavior.

Yahya Abdulaziz Qasim, Acting Head of the Religious Guidance Department and responsible for the “Ajyal” program, confirmed that the program was launched in partnership with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai and the Ministry of Education based on the department’s belief that building generations is a shared responsibility in which the roles of the school, family, and community institutions are integrated. He pointed out that the development of the content of the program this year came after studying the topics most important to the students, ensuring the provision of awareness messages that keep pace with their reality, touch on their needs, and contribute to building their awareness and strengthening their value system.

He explained that the department is working to develop the “Ajyal” program for the next academic year by adopting a more comprehensive system of topics and expanding field implementation, which will contribute to increasing the number of beneficiaries and reaching a wider segment of students, parents and teachers.
