المملكة: 15,430 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations were arrested in the Kingdom’s regions

Resulting and in different , during the period from 2 to 8 July 2026, reported the arrest of 15,430 violators.
Among them 7,913 violators of the residency system, 4,037 violators of the border security system, and 3,480 violators of the labor system.

The competent authorities also arrested 1,542 people while trying to infiltrate into the Kingdom. 46% of them were Yemenis, and 53% were Ethiopians.
While other nationalities represented 1%, and 30 people were arrested while trying to leave the Kingdom in irregular ways.
27 people involved in transporting, harboring and employing violators of the residency, labor and border security regulations or covering them up were arrested, while the number of violating expatriates currently subject to regulations implementation procedures reached 29,286 people. Of them, 27,127 men and 2,159 women.
The competent authorities referred 17,353 violators to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, while 5,438 violators were referred to complete their travel reservations, and 11,800 violators were deported.
Reporting violators
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that facilitating the entry of violators of the border security system or Transporting them, sheltering them, or providing any kind of assistance to them exposes the perpetrators to penalties of up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to one million riyals.
In addition to confiscating the means of transportation or housing used in the crime and defaming those involved, she stressed that these violations are considered major crimes requiring arrest and breach of honor and trust.
She urged to report any cases of violations to the number (911) in the areas of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. And Medina, Riyadh, and Sharqiya, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
