The UAE declares mourning and lowering flags at half-mast for 4 days over the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

The Presidential Office announced mourning for the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, father of the Emir of Qatar, and flags will be flown at half-mast in all official departments within the country and its embassies and diplomatic missions abroad for a period of 4 days, starting today, Sunday, July 12, and ending at the end of Wednesday, July 15.

May God bless the deceased with his vast mercy and make him dwell in his spacious gardens and grant patience and solace to all of the honorable Al Thani family. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.
