Al Ain Municipality issued 321 violations against non-food establishments in the first half

The Al Ain City Municipality, represented by the Public Health Department, carried out more than 22,000 inspection visits to non-food establishments during the first half of 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance compliance with health and regulatory requirements, and maintain public health and the quality of services provided to the community.

The Director of the Department, Hazzam Abdullah Al Dhaheri, confirmed that the inspection work resulted in issuing 2,335 warnings and issuing 321 violations against non-compliant establishments, noting that the Al Ain City Municipality continued to implement specialized oversight campaigns, which included comprehensive and deep cleaning campaigns in the vegetable and fish market, and an inspection operation to follow up on cleaning work in the market, and on drinking water tanks and coolers, and public swimming pools in hotels, sports clubs, and educational facilities.

Statistics showed that the campaigns and oversight visits included 6,148 establishments, while the number of registered establishments reached 1,441 establishments, in addition to the implementation of 5,489 awareness initiatives aimed at raising the level of awareness of health and safety requirements among establishment owners and workers.
